Chelsea is a vibrant small town in southeast Michigan that prides itself on many things – not the least of which is its hospitality. It is about 10 miles from Ann Arbor, home of the University of Michigan. A few of the attractions of this wonderful midwestern city are: it is the home of Jeff Daniels and the professional Purple Rose Theatre; the world-wide producer of Jiffy Mix, a product that helps to make all cooks and chefs look good; the Common Grill, a world-class restaurant; a first-class hospital; and an award-winning library which in 2008 was named the “Best Small Library in America” by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Chelsea is a walkable city where you can spend an hour strolling the streets and shopping the shops. Or explore the sculpture walk. It offers good shopping, dining and entertainment along with that “hometown” atmosphere offering not only many activities, but peaceful moments in which to relax.

Suhhee Song's comments from her visit in 2013 are the following: "You will be surprised that you can find so much culture in small town Chelsea! Bring just three things to Chelsea: your curiosity for sharing cultures, a thankful mind and warm clothing! You will always experience more than you expect."
