We invite you to join us as we celebrate Christmas amid the palm trees and  sunshine beside the Atlantic Ocean in northeast Florida. Enjoy the hospitality of 2 host families (one each week)  giving you opportunity to get to know Americans and they to know more about you, your country and your culture as you share every day life together.  There will be time for you to prepare a dish from your country--so bring a recipe and/or that special spice that makes the dish authentic, and any cultural items or clothing that will help us know more about your country and you.

Enjoy a change of pace, visit the beach, join your host family as they prepare for Christmas in their home, church, and community.  Even though we have space for just a few students, there are planned group trips touring downtown St. Augustine--the oldest city in the U.S.(the Spanish landed in 1565) and to Disney World ($84), Kennedy Space Center($41), and shared meals with other students and host families.  Students are expected to pay admission when touring.  Another real highlight is sharing days with students from many countries around the world and making new friends with more than American families.  Let's begin the New Year together and contribute to peace in a world needing more peace and understanding.   Join us?!
