Broad
Street Presbyterian Church
Columbus, OH
Columbus
is Ohio’s state capitol and home to Broad Street Presbyterian Church. We’re
a downtown church with an inclusive congregation. Home of the 2002 National
Championship Ohio State Buckeye football team, we invite you to spend Christmas,
2004 with families of our congregation.
You
will be staying as a guest in one of our congregation members’ homes, but feel
free to become part of the family. Some homes will have small children, pets,
some will have adults only, but whichever family you stay with, be assured they
are anxious to get to know you and share their culture and Christmas traditions
with you.
Broad
Street will host 3 CIH students, so be prepared to attend many family night
activities with the other students, a museum trip, historic sights, and plenty
of shopping. We will also have an International night where you will have the
opportunity to cook a dish from your native country as well as share customs and
culture.
While
transportation, the cost of group events and group meals will be covered by our
CIH church budget, additional activities such as a possible ski trip (weather
permitting) will need to come from you. If you would like to ski, please bring
an additional $75.00 -$85.00 to cover lift tickets and equipment rental.
We
look forward to sharing the winter holidays with you.
